PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystalline polymer powder which is excellent in the powder flowability and in the miscibility with other components and also is of a low cost; an efficiently manufacturing method thereof; and a filler-highly filled resin material using it. SOLUTION: The liquid crystalline polymer powder and its manufacturing method are characterized in that the powder has in the particle size, which is measured by a sieving test method on the basis of JIS-K 0069, 40 % by weight or more of particles passable through a sieve opening of 250μm and has a bulk density of from 0.25 g/cm3or more to 0.7 g/cm3or less.
