<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To abolish locking components for reducing the number of parts, to facilitate assembly operation, and furthermore to reduce a manufacture cost. <P>SOLUTION: The indoor unit of an air conditioner comprises: a body panel that is fitted to the front of a base having a suction opening on a front and a top, and an outlet in the front lower part, and a ceiling surface panel installed on the top of the suction opening on the top of a body panel. A protrusion part is provided at the tip of the ceiling surface panel. By inserting it in the reception section which is provided in the body panel side, the tip of the ceiling surface panel is positioned. Additionally, a hole for fixing and a protrusion section for fixing are provided at either the ceiling surface panel or the body panel, and the other, respectively. The ceiling surface panel is fixed to the body panel by inserting a protruding portion for fixing into the hole for fixing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
