<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the adhesion strength between the plastic film layer and the sheath adhesive film layer of the power-cable water sealing tape, to eliminate occurrence of the wrinkle of streak-shape at manufacturing of a power cable, and to prevent degradation of the insulation performance of the water sealing tape affected by the wrinkle, thereby enabling to use the power cable stably for a long period of time, in the power cable which is embedded underground for keeping the appearance of the city. <P>SOLUTION: In the water sealing tape 10 for the power cable, a plastic film layer 5 is laminated on the surface of a metallic foil layer 3, and further, a sheath adhesive film layer 6 is laminated on the surface of the plastic film layer 5, and a surface treatment by a titanium coupling agent is applied on the surface of the plastic film layer 5.
