PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellular phone unit with camera capable of photographing the surroundings as a camera, directly transmitting an image between terminals, without burdening a network by transmission of an image and with high responsiveness. SOLUTION: The cellular phone unit with camera is provided with an incoming sub-address processing means 22 capable of taking out control information and calling information when a call setting message is received and converting the control information into a control instruction, a control part 16 capable of controlling an imaging part based on the converted control instruction, a chat management means 26 for managing chat and a chat mail processing means 27 capable of setting character data or image data to the message, the control part 16 executes photography and the chat management means 26 transmits the message to which the image data is set to a calling number when the call setting message is received.
