PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor which is extremely highly resistant to wear, has a surface resistance to scratching, does not crack, has good electrostatic chargeability, reduces the residual potential during photoirradiation, is less fluctuated in electrostatic charge potential in spite of repeated use, hardly forms abnormal images, attains the compatibility of the wear resistance with high image quality stability, and is long in lifetime. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor has a layer containing a composition having a higher order crosslinked body integrated and coupled with a crosslinked body formed by a condensation reaction of a silanol group and a crosslinked body formed by an addition reaction of an epoxy group and a silanol group by means of a structure capable of reacting both and mainly having a charge transferable group adjacently to the addition reaction section of the epoxy group and the silanol group.
