PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat plate-like flow cell measurement device, in which the positioning work of a flat plate-like flow cell with an optical system can be easily performed, at high accuracy. SOLUTION: The flat plate-like flow cell measurement device includes (a) the flat plate-like flow cell having a flow passage with at least one measurement part; (b) a means for irradiating the measurement part with a light beam; (c) a means for detecting and outputting scattered light from the measurement part; (d) a means for correlating the output from (c) with the positional output of the flat plate-like flow cell or the light beam in the state with no sample, for calculating the moving amount of the flat plate-like flow cell or the light beam, and for indicating the movement; and (e) a means for moving the flat plate-like flow cell or the light beam, on the basis of the movement indication from (d).
