PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly durable fixing belt and a highly durable and reliable image heating device in the image heating device capable of low energy heating by using a heating body of small heat capacity. SOLUTION: The fixing belt has at least a release layer and a metallic layer composed of an electroformed nickel, and in a crystal structure of the electroformed nickel, an average size of a crystallite is≥0.05μm and≤0.2μm.
