The door plate (11) has a surrounding metal profiled frame (16). Inner and outer metal plates (19,21) are held by the frame, and the door plate bound is held on an edge profile (12) which has a section for accommodating a lock. The outer plate (21) covers a protective hard steel plate (23) which is fixed to the frame, e.g. by welding. Insulation is located between the protective plate (23) and the inner plate (19), and pref. consists of a hard plastic foam, e.g. polyurethane. |
