PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring apparatus enabling high precision measurement, using a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The measuring apparatus 1 comprises a weighing pan 3 on which a work is placed; a connection rod 4 so connected to the weighing pan 3 as to extend downward; a spring 8, whose one end is locked with the connection rod 4 for fixing; a pinion 9 that converts the amount of movement of the connection rod 4 into rotational movement, an encoder 10 connected to the rotational shaft of the pinion 9; and a process part 11 which processes the pulse signal outputted from the encoder 10 for displaying weight.
