PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onboard navigation device and a facilities icon display method, in which the position and the charge of a car park or other facilities can be easily known, even if the vehicle is traveling. SOLUTION: In displaying the car park around the current position of the vehicle on a map, for example, data on the position, the utilization situation, the charge, and so forth of the car park around the current position of the vehicle are acquired from an information distribution center. The background color of a car park icon is fixed to one color of the white, green, and orange, according to the utilization situation of the car park, and the character color of the car park icon is fixed to one color of blue, gray, and white, according to the charge per hour.
