PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio meter-reading device equipped with a means for surely collecting charge for gas usage used by each consumer. SOLUTION: This radio meter-reading device is configured to measure the gas usage of each consumer by a gas meter 8, and to communicate with a master device 12 by a slave device 9 connected to the gas meter 8 by radio waves. The master device 12 where the gas usage corresponding to a sum preliminarily paid by each consumer is set from an automatic meter-reading center 6 is configured to transmit an unplug request through the salve device 9 to the gas meter 8, and to periodically monitor the gas usage of a consumer through communication.
