PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise a heating efficiency by grill heating or oven heating while advantages of a prior art are maintained and to obtain a delicate heating uniformity at a microwave heating time in a rotary antenna type microwave oven. SOLUTION: A microwave heating apparatus includes a heating chamber 1, a microwave generator 2, a waveguide 3, the antenna 4, a motor 5 for rotating the antenna 4, and a placing base 6 provided to partition in the heating chamber near above the antenna 4 and made of a dielectric in such a manner that a heater H<SB>2</SB>is provided on an inner periphery of the chamber 1 under the base 6. A first magnet 43 is disposed at the antenna 4, and a rotary member 7 having a second magnet 73 disposed at a position corresponding to the magnet 43 is disposed on the member 7. The member 7 is rotated by corresponding to the rotation of the antenna 4 by using magnetic coupling of the magnet 43 to the magnet 73. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
