FIELD: manufacture of cigarette paper. SUBSTANCE: proposed system optically controls cigarette paper with applied stripes with the help of direction of white light beam transverse to cloth of cigarette paper. Extended beam falls on surface of cigarette paper and forms reflected radiation. Collection of cameras 84 of line sweep comprising line matrixes of charge-coupled devices receives reflected radiation and generates output signals. One or more processing units 72, 76 process output signals in order to generate data characterizing separation between stripes, width and contrast of stripes. These computations can be periodically transmitted over network to separate operational computer station. Operational computer station generates statistic oscillations on basis of computations such as width of stripes, separation of stripes and contrast of stripes as function of number of segment of data and as function of time. Statistical messages secure convenient way of fast detection of flaws in application of stripes. EFFECT: increased precision of control and expanded application field. 22 cl, 14 dwg |
