INTERVERTEBRAL CAGE

PURPOSE: To provide an intervertebral cage which can be inserted and placed between upper and lower vertebral bodies from a direction diagonally in front of a spine after removal of an intervertebral disk. CONSTITUTION: This intervertebral cage is inserted and placed between the vertebral bodies of the spine, has a hollow cage body 3 of the cage with the rear end side thicker than the front end side, is equipped with a plurality of nail-shaped parts 19 for non-escaping having a ridge 17 formed in a direction approximately perpendicular to a bisector approximately bisecting the angle of a corner part 3C at the front end side and located on both upper and lower surfaces, and has screw through-holes 15U and 15L in a diagonally vertical direction in a V-shaped groove part 13 formed on the rear end surface. The screw through-holes 15U and 15L are openings which are long in the horizontal direction.
