1. A device for conveying electrodes, used in the electrolytic refining or electrowinning of metals, comprising electrode lifting and conveying members installed below the support point of the electrode, characterized in that comprises at least one lift member (6) for the vertical motion of the electrode (3) and at least one conveyor member (1) for the horizontal motion of said electrode (3), wherein said lifting and conveying members are mutually separated. 2. A device according to claim 1, characterised in that the operation of the conveyor member (1) and/or of the lift member (6) is controlled by means of hydraulic cylinders (5,7). 3. A device according to claim 1, characterised in that the operation of the conveyor member (1) and/or of the lift member (6) is controlled by pneumatic cylinders. 4. A device according to claim 1, characterised in that the operation of the conveyor member (1) and/or of the lift member (6) is controlled electrically. 5. A device according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the device has a modular structure. 6. A device according to claim 5, characterised in that one module includes at least two conveyor members (1) and at least two lift members (6).
