PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dislocation superconductive tape unit in which the dislocation crossover part is not floated by being easily bent edgewise even if a base material having a high rigidity is used and, therefore, has a strength capable of enduring a great electromagnetic force impressed on the superconductive coil at generation of magnetic field, and a superconductive cable. SOLUTION: The dislocation superconductive tape unit is formed by taping a plurality of superconductive element wires in which oxide superconductors are vapor deposited on a tape surface of stainless steel or Hastelloy alloy having a width (W) and a thickness (t) with a crossover length (L) and stranded in dislocation. In this case, the relationship of the crossover length (L) and the width (W) and the thickness (t) of the tape material is to be ( W<SP>2</SP>/ Lt )≤0.313. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
