摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out additional refueling normally after a closing of a valve in an automatic valve-closing mechanism due to the detection of the level of a liquid fuel. SOLUTION: A controller 25 in a measuring machine 11 clears a count value c representing the frequency of additional refueling when the flow rate of the liquid fuel is judged to be higher than a prescribed flow rate, setting to zero the frequency of refueling stoppage caused by the automatic closing of the valve before a normal level detection, thus preventing refueling from stopping, due to a false level detection, before a tank is filled up. Accordingly, even if a splash of the liquid fuel is detected as the fuel level to cause a refueling nozzle 13 to automatically close when refueling is made at a high flow rate (F<SB>H</SB>), the count value c is reset to zero despite the stoppage of refueling resulting from the closing of the valve since the flow rate (F<SB>H</SB>) is higher than the prescribed flow rate. As a result, a wrong judgement that additional refueling is carried out in prescribed times is prevented, thus additional refueling operation becomes more reliable. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
