<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow voice data, used on a network computer, to have the waveform of a voice and a time base in the same file. <P>SOLUTION: The expanded voice data generated by imparting a time base and a control point to the voice data and the voice server are employed for a network system and when the expanded voice data when transmitted can be compressed to 1/2 to 1/3 as large as the original sound data to make it easy to handle the voice data on Web. Consequently, a voice can be uploaded from the user terminal side and the expanded voice data has the time base and control point, so a desired part can be accessed discontinuously at random. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
