PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of solving problems in long-term storage of vegetables and the like for economical operation when continuously keeping a vegetable chamber at a lower temperature is uneconomical as low-temperature setting of a vegetable room in the long-term storage of vegetables and the like increases an operation time of a freezer including a refrigerant compressor and results in increase in power consumption. SOLUTION: This refrigerator 1 is provided with a cold air constant quantity supply passage 43A and a cold air variable quantity supply passage 43B to the vegetable room 4. In the cold air variable quantity supply passage 43B, a switch device 60 opening/closing the passage or increasing/decreasing quantity of supplied cold air is arranged, so that the vegetable room 4 is switched between a high storage temperature condition and a low storage temperature condition.
