PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely and effectively absorb shock energy when an occupant's head abuts on an interior parts covering a pillar of a vehicle. SOLUTION: An inside facing to the cabin of the front pillar 3 of the vehicle is covered with the pillar garnish 1 of the interior parts, and a shock absorbing member 2 is provided in the clearance between a curved shaped rear half part 14 of the pillar garnish 1 facing to the occupant's head and the inner surface of the front pillar 3. A groove shape recessed part 10 is formed in longitudinal direction on the backside of the installation portion of the shock absorbing member 2 in the pillar garnish 1, and the plate thickness is made thin. When the occupant's head abuts to the pillar garnish 1, the installation part of the shock absorbing member 2 of the pillar garnish 1 is easily deformed and pushed in to crush and deform the shock absorbing member 2, and the shock energy is securely absorbed.
