PURPOSE: Provided is an antibacterial soap containing an essential oil extracted from pine needles as a natural antibacterial and anti-insect agent, which removes a broad spectrum of bacteria efficiently and has substantially no toxicity. CONSTITUTION: The antibacterial soap comprises 70-75% of a beef tallow, 24-29% of a coconut oil, 0.5-0.8% of a dye and glycerin and 1.2-1.5% of an essential oil extracted from pine needles. In the soap, the essential oil of pine needles is extracted by mixing pine needles with distilled water, triturating the mixture and then distilling. The antibacterial soap is prepared by extracting fatty acids from a beef tallow, adding a small amount of sodium hydroxide to the fatty acids, heating the mixture, adding sodium chloride, and further adding 1.2-1.5% of an essential oil of pine needles.
