摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method with small thermal shrinkage, high dimensional accuracy in the case of forming minute uneven structure on the surface of an optical element by forming and to provide the optical element with dielectric multilayer film having high heat resistance, desired characteristics and durability by using the method. <P>SOLUTION: The optical element having the prescribed surface shape is constituted by covering the dielectric multilayer film on the surface of a solid state composite layer having glass transfer temperature of 100&deg;C or more. The solid state composite layer is obtained by forming and hardening a fluid liquidity composite containing polymerized organic radicals. Hardening is performed by photopolymerization or thermal polymerization of the polymerized organic radicals and the prescribed surface shape is transferred from a shaping die. The hardened composite is released from the shaping die and the dielectric multilayer film is further formed on the surface of the solid state composite layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
