PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance durability against repetitive lock release operation. SOLUTION: This shield connector 20 is composed by covering a housing 30 with a pair of shield plate 40 and 50, and provided with metallic elastic lock pieces 46 for being locked to a mating receptacle side connector 70. A pair of left and right levers 60 for flexurally deforming the lock pieces 46 into a release attitude are mounted, and rotatably supported by the shield plates 40 and 50. Accordingly, flexural deformation of a resin does not need to be used in releasing the lock like a conventional one, and the durability against the repetitive lock release operation is enhanced.
