PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an occupied area of a Hughes program circuit for programming redundant information for failure column rescue. SOLUTION: Column redundant information storage circuit blocks 1W0-1W7 and 1E0-1E7 for failure column rescue are arranged in correspondence to each of memory cell array blocks MBW0-MBW7 and MBE0-MBE7. Storage information of the column redundant information storage circuit is transferred to a redundant information locking circuit to be arranged in spare column decoder bands 2W and 2E adjacent to a data path, is decoded in the spare decoders bands at the time of accessing the column, and a page is selected.
