PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a developing device in which a leader is carried to a film processing section by surely engaging perforations of the leader with projections of a belt. SOLUTION: The leader L is carried by a driving roller 42 and a nip roller pair 44 disposed in a film loading section 12 to an endless belt 28 which is provided with projections 32 to be engaged with the perforations of the leader L and which carries the leader to the film developing section 14. A protruding part 52 is disposed in the position in the upstream side of the engaging position of the perforation 30 with the projection and opposing to the belt 28 with the carrying pass interposed. The perforation 30 is hooked on the protruding part 52, which once halts carrying of the leader L, and this results in engagement of the perforation 30 with the projection 32. Therefore, the leader L is never carried in the film developing section 14 in such a state that the perforation 30 of the leader L is not engaged with the projection 32. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
