Exchangeable linings, panels and coverings for road signs have an optically correct and attractive shape to provide a quick solution for any changes which arise. A example of use is represented on an associated drawing in which the traffic sign ' one-way street' is replaced for the short term by the lining or panels with the designation ' cul-de-sac' or 'blind-end', and similarly damaged road signs and unsightly items of equipment etc can be covered over, and the materials suitable for all these applications can be manufactured.
