PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission processing apparatus testing method for the testing development of transmission processing apparatus software correctly and efficiently. SOLUTION: A testing support device 1 retrieves an input/output signal processed in the transmission processing apparatus 9 concerned from the transmission processing apparatus 9 actually employed in a network N. Next, the device 1 transmits a direction to a false active call apparatus 7, and transmits a command to a tested transmission processing apparatus 8 in relation to the false active call same as the call transmitted to the employment transmission processing apparatus 9 based on the acquired input signal. The false active call apparatus 7 supplies the false active call in response to the command, performs the testing of the tested transmission processing apparatus 8, and transmits the result of the processing to the testing support device 1. In the testing support device 1, normality determination is made by comparing an output signal obtained from the employment transmission processing apparatus 9 with the output signal of the tested transmission processing apparatus 8.
