PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problem that a conventional drive of a hybrid vehicle cannot return a relay for controlling power supply from a main battery until the vehicle stops because contact melting by the counter electromotive force of a motor is avoided when the relay is released during the running of the vehicle.
SOLUTION: A boosting converter 54 is disposed between SMR 52A, 52B and an inverter circuit 56. When an ECU 60 is reset by an external disturbance or the like and the SMR 52A, 52B are released, the ECU 60 turns off a transistor Q1 of the boosting converter 54 and returns the SMR 52A, 52B to a conduction state. Turning off the transistor Q1 inhibits the electromotive force of the motor 58 from being applied to the SMR 52A, 52B, thus preventing melting due to sparks between contacts.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
