摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnet assembly that is an improved one of a conventional magnetic assembly and maintains a boundary value of the peripheral magnetic field even if an individual parameter of coil devices is different from a disired value due to inaccuracy in production. SOLUTION: It is designed that at least one of electric current paths (P1 to Pn) that are closed superconductively is superconductively shorted at least temporarily when an active shield superconductive magnet coil system (M) is charged, and electric current that is induced inside in the charging process of the electric current paths (P1 to Pn) generates all magnetic dipole moment having a magnitude of at least 0.1% of the magnitude of magnetic dipole moment of a charged coil system (C2) in a radially outside portion, thereby optimizing the behavior of the peripheral magnetic field in the outside of the magnetic assembly. By appropriately designing an additional electric current path, the shift of the peripheral magnetic field from a design specification due to the shift of coil parameters from the design values is compensated.
