PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for hair, containing a film-forming polymer which makes the hair easily combed, enhances cosmetic characteristics of the composition, and facilitates shaping and maintaining of the hair. SOLUTION: This composition for the hair contains at least one kind of unconcentrated linear diblock copolymer and at least one kind of the film-forming polymer in a cosmetically acceptable medium, wherein the unconcentrared linear diblock copolymer contains a hydrophilic block and a hydrophobic block (not including a block copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide, nor another block copolymer containing urethane units, nor the other block copolymer containing siloxane units), and the film-forming polymer is useful for the hair. Thus, the film-forming polymer known to have a useful effect on the hair is further extremely improved in cosmetic and styling performances.
