This invention is a portable tool of diagnostics for industrial rotating machine (1). The tool is constituted by a parabolic-shape collector (2) of sound wave, a microphone (3), a supporting block (4), a handle (5), an electronic amplifier (6), an analog/digital converter (7), a microcomputer (8) and an application software (9). The primary function of the tool is to visualize malfunctions of rotating machine in order to reduce diagnostic services for machine maintenance. The tool makes a comparison of frequency characteristics of sound wave between that emitted by machines "with defect" and that of machine "without defect". The tool can substitute sophisticated electronic devices of maintenance with relatively good accuracy. The invention belongs to the technical area of predictive maintenance for diagnostics of rotating machine in the industrial facilities of continuous production.
