TIME-INTERLEAVE BAND PASS DELTA-SIGMA MODULATOR

PURPOSE: A time-interleave band pass delta-sigma modulator is provided to drastically reduce the clock frequency by using the time-interleave band pass Δ-Σ modulator, thereby directly performing the A/D conversion in a wireless communication system with a high frequency intermediate frequency(IF) bandwidth. CONSTITUTION: A time-interleave band pass Δ-Σ modulator includes a plurality of blocks, each of the blocks being a clock frequency with a different phase and including a first adder, a second adder and a comparator. In the time-interleave band pass Δ-Σ modulator, the input signal is inputted to the first adder in response to each of the clock signals of the blocks and the output of the first adder in the nth block is inputted to the first adder and the second adder in the (n+2)th block. The output of the second adder in the nth block is inputted to the second adder of the (n+2)th block and the output after passing through the comparator inputted to the first adder and the second adder in the (n+2)th block. The time-interleave band pass Δ-Σ modulator converts the analog signal into a digital signal by outputting a final output with subsequently receiving the outputs of the comparators in each of the blocks.
