PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize pressing of high bearing pressure even when the table dimension is small. SOLUTION: An inner space of a cylinder 6 of a pressurizing cylinder 3 of a high bearing pressure press 1 for forging or the like is partitioned in upper and lower parts by a partition wall 7, an upper piston 9 is disposed in an upper cylinder 8, a lower piston 11 is disposed in a lower cylinder 10, and the upper piston 9 is connected to the lower piston 11 by a piston rod. Pressing is performed at a high bearing pressure by the upper and lower pistons by feeding oil of the predetermined high pressure to the upper piston 9 side and the lower piston 11 side. In particular, a crown part 2 is formed by the cylinder 6 of the pressing cylinder 3, and a cylinder space part between the upper piston 9 of the cylinder 6 of the crown part 2 and the partition wall 7 is miniaturized and allowed to freely communicate with the atmosphere for a high efficiency.
