FIREPROOF HEAT INSULATOR FOR PENETRATING SECTION AND ITS MOUNTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fireproof heat insulator for a penetrating section capable of preventing a fire spreading from a through-hole formed at a cross beam for a steel structure in a fire.

SOLUTION: The fireproof heat insulator closes the through-hole 61 formed at the cross beam 60 for the steel structure. The fire-protection heat insulator is composed of a substrate 10 having a diameter larger than the through-hole 61, a fire-protection heat-insulating board 20 having the diameter smaller than the through-hole 61 and being fixed on the substrate 10 concentrically to the substrate and a plurality of pawls 30 disposed upright on the substrate so as to be positioned between the heat-insulating board 20 and the through-hole 61.
