<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a record display medium which keeps up constant thickness of a liquid crystal layer, prevents deviation in the thickness of the liquid crystal layer and in concentration of a liquid crystal compound (a coloring state) due to a flow of the liquid crystal compound and with which uniform and beautiful display is feasible. <P>SOLUTION: The record display medium has a substrate 1, the liquid crystal layer 3 containing the cholesteric liquid crystal compound placed on the substrate 1, a protective layer 4 placed on the liquid crystal layer 3 and partition walls 2 between the substrate 1 and the protective layer 4 wherein the partition walls 2 contain the cholesteric liquid crystal compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
