The invention relates to a stator assembly (20) comprising a number divisible by six of stator poles (31 to 36), a first to sixth stator pole (31 ... 36) being arranged successively in a predetermined angular range. Three phase windings (70, 72, 74) are connected in a triangle, with three busbars (U, V, W, 38, 40, 42) acting as their connections. A first phase winding (51) located at the first stator pole (31) is positioned between a first busbar (38) and a second busbar (40), a second phase winding (52) located at the second stator pole (32) is positioned between the second busbar (40) and the third busbar (42), a third phase winding (53), located at the third stator pole (33) is positioned between the third busbar (42) and the first busbar (38), a fourth phase winding (54) located at the fourth stator pole (34) is positioned between the first busbar (38) and the second busbar (40), a fifth phase winding (55) located at the fifth stator pole (35) is positioned between the second busbar (40) and the third busbar (42) and a sixth phase winding (56) located at the sixth stator pole (36) is positioned between the third stator pole (42) and the first stator pole (38). Preferably, all the phase windings from the first to the sixth are continuously wound, i.e. without interruption of the winding wire (44). |
