<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an accurate specific channel received field strength measurement by correcting pre-assumed noise within receiver bands. <P>SOLUTION: While a summation electric field strength RSSI (Receiving Signal Strength Indicator) is detected for all channel signals within received bands, a power ratio Ec/Ior of a channel signal diffused with specific spread codes to all channel signals is detected. According to computation processing using noise electric power data within a predetermined received bands, the detected Ec/Ior value is rectified by correcting noise within received bands. According to the corrected Ec/Ior value and the detected RSSI value, a received field strength RSCP (Received Signal Code Power) is determined for the channel signal diffused with specific spread codes. Alternatively, according to computation processing using noise electric power data within received bands, a received field strength RSCP, for which the detected RSCP' value is corrected by a level amounting to noise within receiving bands, is determined for the channel signal diffused with specific spread codes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
