PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position regulating mechanism utilizing the elasticity of a structure in which a reaction force in an operation can be made uniform and molding failure can hardly occur in resin molding. SOLUTION: This position regulating mechanism is provided with: a member 1 to be engaged; an abutting part 3 having an engaging part 6 to be engaged with the member 1 for regulating the rotation of the member 1 for permitting the rotation of the member 1 according to its deformation by the contact pressure with the member 1 in accordance with the rotation of the member 1; a first supporting part 4 for supporting one edge side of the abutting part 3 in the rotating and moving direction of the member 1, and a second supporting part 5 for supporting the other edge side.
