PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a staircase which enables the arbitrary setting of an angle of inclination by moving a lower end of a girder material up to an arbitrary position on a scaffolding board, and which can prevent a slip by surely fixing the lower end of the girder material in a prescribed position. SOLUTION: In this staircase, a plurality of steps 9 are provided between the paired girder materials 8 at intervals; hooks 6 are provided at the upper ends of the girder materials 8; lower parts of the girder materials 8 are placed on the scaffolding boards 1 and 2 via the hooks 6; and turnable locking pins 7, which are attached to the lower side surfaces of the girder materials 8 in a horizontally movable manner, are detachably inserted in holes which are formed in the scaffolding board 1 and 2.
