The invention relates to a two-phase current ventricular electrical stimulator and a stimulation method used in the event of heart failure caused by a loss in ventricular synchronisation. According to the invention, a pulse generator (3) generates a pulse (5) with a polarity which passes to a converter (4) in order to divide same, such that pulses (6, 7) with opposite polarities are produced simultaneously. Each of the aforementioned pulses is conveyed to a ventricular outlet ring (8, 8') of the generator and each pulse closes the circuit with the casing of the generator. The invention can also comprise a forked outlet with connections to the generator for each of the ventricular electrodes. Moreover, the invention can comprise an additional outlet (10) for standard auricular perception and stimulation so that the auriculo-ventricular synchronisation is respected and a triple-chamber pulse generator but with unipolar ventricular two-phase stimulation.
