PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light transmission/reception module capable of preventing axial shift from occurring on an optical fiber in the case of bonding and sticking the connection part of a ferrule to which the optical fiber is attached, and its manufacture method. SOLUTION: A pair of ferrules 3 and 4 has bonded partsβandγwhere one part or all of the outer peripheral surface of the optical fiber 1 is exposed from the end side. In order to integrally cover and hold a pair of ferrules 3 and 4 in a state where the end faces 31 and 41 of the bonded partsβandγare butted to each other, a guide sleeve 5 having a slit 51 notched in a center axis direction from one end to the other end so as to function also as a means for discharging an excess adhesive in the case of sticking the butting surfaces of the ferrules to each other is externally inserted to the outer peripheral surfaces of the ferrules 3 and 4 . Then, a window part 52 notched at a reverse phase position in an up-and-down direction to the formed position of the slit 51 is provided on the guide sleeve 5 in order to insert and arrange a light reception part 7.
