APPARATUS FOR DETECTING WATER LEAKAGE IN WATER JACKET

PURPOSE: A water leakage detecting apparatus for a water jacket is provided to precisely detect a water leakage in the water jacket through a simple manner by precisely detecting variation of pressure in the water jacket. CONSTITUTION: A water leakage detecting apparatus includes a working table(10) whose top is flat. A lifting plate(20) is installed on the working table(10) in such a manner that the lifting plate(20) moves up and down by means of a cylinder(16). A water leakage detecting section has a sealing cap and a sensor for generating an electric signal by detecting pressure variation in the sealing cap. A sealing section has an insertion port, a sealing member inserted into the insertion port and a cooling water path. Cooling water is supplied into a water jacket and discharged from the water jacket through the cooling water path.
