PURPOSE: Lateral impact-absorbing structure of a vehicle is provided to excellently absorb impact through uniform deformation although impact force is given to any place of a foam plastic pad. CONSTITUTION: Lateral impact-absorbing structure of a vehicle comprises a foam plastic pad(2) attached to the inside of a door trim(1) and an impact force-jetting plate(3) installed on a side of the foam plastic pad. The impact force-jetting plate is installed through contact with the foam plastic pad. The impact force-jetting plate is installed, with a cavity(C), to the foam plastic pad. For the impact force-jetting plate, a support part(31) around a hard plastic plate body(30) is formed and the support part is fitted into a side of the foam plastic pad and is combined through adhesion.
