PURPOSE: A device for feeding paper with a double transfer preventing function is provided to prevent double-transfer by compressing rear ends of a plurality of sheets of paper loaded under the topmost sheet of paper. CONSTITUTION: A cassette(10) is loaded with a plurality of sheets of paper(13). A paper separating member(11) is installed at a front end of the cassette and blocks front ends of the plurality of sheets of paper. A pickup roller(20) is installed at the upper part of the cassette and rotates with compressing the top side of the topmost sheet of paper to transfer the plurality of sheets of paper. A double-transfer preventing element(30) is installed at a rear end of the cassette and compresses rear ends of the plurality of sheets of paper loaded under the topmost sheet of paper. The double-transfer preventing element includes a compression member(31) compressing the rear ends of the plurality of sheets of paper, and an elastic member(33) giving compression force to the compression member.
