DEVICE AND METHOD FOR INDICATING IRIS RECOGNITION DISTANCE

PURPOSE: A device and a method for indicating an iris recognition distance are provided to receive the iris data from a user without an error by visually informing an iris camera user of an optimal distance between the user and an iris camera through a lens without using voice. CONSTITUTION: Distance measuring LEDs(Light Emitting Diode)(14,15) installed to the outside of the lens(7) irradiate light in order to measure the distance to a user's direction. A CCD(Charge Coupled Device) device converts an image including an iris shape of the user inputted through the lens into an electric signal. A controller decides the distance between the lens and the user from the electric signal, compares the distance with a preset distance, and displays a comparison result through a center of the lens. A display part displays the comparison result by control of the controller.
