PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for inspecting a carburetor state are provided to display a status of a carburetor by detecting an amount of oxygen from exhaust gas exhausted from an exhaust system of an LPG vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A carburetor state inspecting apparatus includes a first vacuum pump(100), a gas cooler(101), a filter(102), an oxygen sensor(103), a second vacuum pump(104), an amplifier(105), a control section(106), a display section(107), a key input section(108) and a power supply section(109). The first vacuum pump(100) sucks some of gas exhausted from an exhaust system of an LPG vehicle so as to discharge exhaust gas to the gas cooler(101). The gas cooler(101) cools exhaust gas at 20 deg.C, which is an operating temperature of the oxygen sensor(103). The amplifier(105) amplifies a voltage signal transmitted from the oxygen sensor(103) such that the voltage signal has a predetermined level.
