PURPOSE: A digital TV and a method for setting up a picture thereof are provided to easily set up a picture by using undo and redo functions, and realize various pictures by displaying a plurality of sub-pictures. CONSTITUTION: Picture set information preliminarily stored in a memory is read(S11). The read picture set information is applied to a main picture and a single sub-picture is set up with a basic value(S12). It is judged whether a user wants to change the set information(S13). If so, the user inputs an undo command, and it is judged whether the currently changed history is valid(S14). If valid, set information recorded right before the set information is read(S15). If the user did not input the undo command, the user inputs a redo command and it is judged whether the current history is valid(S16). If valid, set information recorded right after the set information is read(S17-S18). It is judged whether the user wants to display the set information on a single sub-picture(S19). If so, the set information is displayed on the single sub-picture and the set information before being changed is displayed on the main picture(S21). If the user wants to store the changed information, the changed information is stored in the memory(S21-S23). It is judged whether the user wants to change the number of sub-pictures(S24). If so, the user inputs the number of sub-pictures(S25). |
