PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single facer capable of suppressing the vibration of a step roll to prevent cutting of a one side corrugated sheet, as well as lowering running cost and manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: In the single facer, a core sheet 7 is corrugated by engagement of a pair of the step rolls 33, 35 engaging with each otherand the corrugated core sheet 7 is bonded with a liner 13 to produce the one side corrugated sheet 15. The single facer comprises a pressure roll mounting member 57 which has an arc-shaped inner peripheral face and is arranged at a prescribed distance from the step roll 33, with its arc-shaped inner peripheral face directed toward the step roll 33 winding the core paper 7 wound between the pair of the step rolls 33, 35, and a plurality of pressure rolls 63 arranged in the pressure roll mounting member 57 in the peripheral direction of the step roll 33 and are pressurized with the step roll 33.
