PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transport device in which the heat transport efficiency is unlikely to drop even if it is constructed small and thin. SOLUTION: The heat transport device is structured so that its condensation part includes a region having liquid repellency for a liquid phase working fluid and thereby the capillary force in the condensation part is allowed to act in the direction that the liquid phase working fluid is sucked to a liquid suction holding part. According to this constitution, the size of the capillary force in the condensation part depends upon the size, but there is not such occurrence that the capillary force obstructs the suction of the liquid phase working fluid by the liquid suction holding part. Accordingly the heat transport efficiency of the heat transport device will never drop even if the condensation part is constructed small and thin. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
