PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a guide picture displayable and operation contents operable in a recording reservation state different from those in a normal state, and to interactively cancel the reservation. SOLUTION: In a reservated state in which a broadcast program being the target of recording reservation and a recording device are respectively registered in recording reservation information 6c and recording relevant setting information 6d, display to completely inhibit a normal operation to the recording device is carried out, and a reservation stop button to cancel the reservation is additionally displayed on an operation guide picture(for example, program information or EPG information) to be displayed so as to be superimposed on the broadcast program at an OSD display device 9 by the operation of a remote controller 16, and only when the reservation stop button is interactively operated by the operation of the remote controller 16, the reservation is cancelled. Also, in the case of a recording output device 11 for recording the broadcast program in a state in which the guide picture is superimposed, any operation to display the guide picture is inhibited in the reservation state. In the case of external equipment 20 for recording the broadcast program in a state in which the guide picture is not superimposed, the operation to display the guide picture is permitted even in the reservation state.
